In 2000 words or fewer, please describe why the nominee deserves to be the Anna Mae Robertson Service Veteran of the Year.

 

Nominations will be judged on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest) on each of the following criteria fora total of 50 possible points:

 

  • Professional and/or volunteer achievements and contributions the veteran has made in support of veterans and/or military communities, including groups within the veterans and/or military community that have faced barriers to service in the past (including based on gender or race).
  • Veteran achievement in community organizations (including non-veteran-specific organizations),
  • Personal skills and attributes that have made the veteran a leader and enabled the veteran to make a positive impact in Wisconsin since returning to civilian life,
  • Awards, recognition, leadership posts, committee appointments, and other significant accomplishments, and
  • Impact or lasting influence of veteran work within an area of service (i.e., advocacy, innovation).
